Activity in the Atlantic! A couple of Areas to watch so far. While the two systems in the Gulf and Eastern Tropical atlantic aren’t expected to become a tropical cyclone in the next 5 days we are keeping an eye on invest 94L in the Central Tropical Atlantic. #weather

That’s a wrap on the CCAR REU program! I have learned so much about Atmospheric Rivers and Extratropical Cyclones, and I am so grateful to have had this experience!

Tropics Update: 9/1/2022. On the first day of September we have our first named storm since July 2nd (TS Colin). TS Danielle is expected to intensify to a hurricane by Sunday as it ventures around in the almost untouched Atlantic. #2022 #hurricane #hurricaneseason
