I’m really going to need our institutions to talk up, and quickly, about what’s happening across Britain. What measures are we taking to support people right now? The blatant racism and Islamophobia is loud ! We need more than the ‘Black Squares’ of the 2020!

Why do organisations explicitly avoid calling out Islamophobia? Language is important, and avoiding the term is part of the problem. Media rhetoric consistently paints Muslims as the "bad guys". This daily narrative impacts Muslims and contributes to the issues we see today.

I keep on coming back here to check what institutions have said about the racist and Islamophobic violence across England … still nothing from particular organisations. It’s noted .
