Talk #3 is by Alexia Stuefer (Sun, 2:30 pm) who will address a long-standing chicken/egg question: is E/I imbalance a cause or a (compensatory) consequence of autism-like syndromes🐔🐣? Spoiler: A brief postnatal increase in E/I balance permanently disrupts social behavior! 3/4

Exciting new work by Andrea Luppi &⭐️coauthors showing that in 👨‍🦰🐵🐭 large-scale modelling of fMRI activity is largely improved by accounting for *competitive* interactions between areas (i.e. assuming that when one area is active, another quiets down) ➡️tinyurl.com/2wsr4nnf
