Last night I called the Toronto Fire Services 🇨🇦 Department to report a backyard bonfire on a street where the houses are old and really close together! Response was top notch, fire is out- for now. #neighbourhoodsnitch

Stay at home without simultaneously opening vaccination to all adults in hotzones, enforcing essential workplace #COVID safety/rapid testing, & providing paid leave prior to confirmed #COVID diagnosis....will not work.

NEW: Five Ontario 'hot spots' getting vaccine priority are actually less hard-hit by #COVID19 than the average neighbourhood. I’ve uncovered this by examining the data on rates of infections, hospitalizations and deaths. #COVID19Ontario cbc.ca/news/canada/to…

This week my bill for 10 paid sick days will be debated in the Ontario Legislature. Retweet if you support 10 paid sick days and send Doug Ford a strong message. #onpoli #PaidSickDays #PaidSickDaysSaveLives #PaidSickDaysNow

Canadian papers have been plenty critical of Doug Ford. But damned if this headline doesn't carry the exact blunt urgency our press just can't seem to muster. washingtonpost.com/opinions/2021/…

You can work hard, yet live and die in poverty. Those with privilege preach hard work over systemic changes to public policies because protecting the status quo is in their best interest.

A coroner’s inquest found that 102 residents at Sainte-Dorothee, a Montreal-area LTC home, didn’t just die from #COVID19, but died dehydrated & starving. The pandemic has shown us the real state of LTC in this country. So what real change do we have to show for it? #LTCJustice

Not sure what’s worse… Premier Ford FaceTiming the media for self-promotion while likely breaking distracted driving laws in the process.. OR the media outlet that allowed this debacle to be aired publicly. #ONstorm #ONpoli #cdnmedia

I follow a mix of satire journalists, main stream journalists and the pundits in between.... Haven't been able to tell them apart these last few weeks.

Just saw a bunch of 20 something's get off the subway.. I was thinking they were on their way to a 90s party. But I think that's just how they dress now....

To all my Canadian friends, if what happens in the USA constantly scares and upsets you, I would highly suggest looking into the conservative party platform and noticing many similarities to the USA structure. If you want Canada to remain a safe place for all don’t vote Cons
