Incredible encounter with Eriskay Ponies on Eriskay today. It made a rainy island ramble worthwhile. The hardy ponies are native to the Outer Hebridean island. They have dense waterproof coats - perfect for Scottish weather. There are less 300 Eriskay Ponies in the world.
