just read this study and I’m concerned not about 2–3x faster delivery not about juniors suddenly performing like seniors not about multi-step tasks becoming trivial with an LLM if engineers start understanding legacy code without suffering, writing tests without crying and

Ralph Wiggum is the craziest thing to happen in the coding agents space in 2026 so far not the technique itself. just the fact that someone was like "here's a technique it's called the Ralph Wiggum technique because of the Simpsons guy" and everyone was like "OK sounds good"

you're writing a CLAUDE dot md? let me guess. "this project uses React with TypeScript." brother claude can see the tsconfig.json. you wrote 200 lines describing your file tree to an agent that can do `ls`. you explained that ~/projects/to-do-app is a todo app. the only lines

I was at a founders + CTOs event for 10-500 person startups. Founders and CTOs at these companies burn some of the most tokens and increasingly ship a bunch of code to production (when they did ~zero 6 months ago)

I'm joining OpenAI to bring agents to everyone. @OpenClaw is becoming a foundation: open, independent, and just getting started.🦞 steipete.me/posts/2026/ope…

.Dario Amodei gets the CEO job: "Culture is the only thing that scales at this speed. Dario spends 30-40% of his time on culture. Not products. Not strategy. Culture. Every two weeks he gets up in front of the entire company for an hour: a ritual called the DVQ (Dario Vision

Everyone’s saying OpenAI got the “same deal” Anthropic was banned for. Read the fine print. They’re not the same: On weapons: Anthropic asked for “no fully autonomous weapons without human oversight” = a human involved in the decision. OpenAI’s deal says “human responsibility

sent this to the team today everything great comes from being able to delay gratification for as long as possible and it feels like we're collectively losing our ability to do that

Yes, as interesting the role was made out when it started, I talked with several devs who took a FDE role... and quit, a few months later. Because the role was either overindexing on sales, or being a consultant. The "contribute back to the platform" part did not manifest

Sage observation from Karri Saarinen (CEO of Linear) It now makes SO MUCH sense why I see a bunch of eng teams rebuilt a SaaS vendor in-house with AI, brag about and feel good They are doing side quests... and they don't even know it. And they are not helping their co win!!

Jevons paradox is happening in real time. Companies, especially outside of tech, are realizing that they can now afford to take on software projects that they wouldn’t have been able to tackle before because now AI lets them do so. We’re going to start to use software for all
