The long awaited results of the Brazilian Reproducibility Network are in! Their final sample consists of 97 replications of 47 studies. The only coherent measure of replication, p<.05, shows a replication rate of 19%. biorxiv.org/content/10.110…
Michael M They must have cut that. Short answer is to bridge all the research that’s been cut, or even most of it, would require stealing gifts. Most of the endowment is gifts where people let Harvard spend the interest on a specific thing, they can’t just turn around and steal that money
