To say that Britishers colonised India with an intention to rescue India's marginalised from the chains of caste structure is really absurd. The Britishers had a goal of 'mass civilization' and they did little to solve the Indian problem of caste than to aggravate it more.

Still deluded that the #EWS decision does not directly impact the SC,ST,OBC reservation? The justification for EWS has been provided by Pardiwala J. at para 185 of the judgement - It is to do away with caste-based reservation.

Totally disagree that EWS will destigmatise reservations. EWS will result in the end of all other reservations. It is wrong to show this judgement as some kind of victory.

perhaps the only book on ews in english.. says a lot about a country touted to be 'argumentative', no? ~ Reservations for the excluded majority in India began with SC/STs and followed by OBCs. They enabled increasing numbers of Bahujans to enter public institutions,

buses, not flyovers 🧙🏾 (@abhignarigala) 's Twitter Profile Photo

The bahujan isn't enabled to enter a university The savarna writes theses on the life of this bahujan n gets a PhD A savarna journo merely interviews bahujans n wins awards While the bahujan remains without a name, forget a citation Whose Byline is it Anyway?
