"The Windrush Compensation Scheme remains unfit for purpose. Some of our clients have been waiting over 3 years for a decision.....As of January 2023, just over a tenth of eligible claimants have been compensated; and at least 26 have died waiting for compensation."

We completely support and have huge admiration for the work that Jacqueline (Jacqui) Mckenzie, her team, and many other lawyers around the country do to ensure that the law is applied accurately to their clients’ cases. theguardian.com/commentisfree/…

Wonderful news for Trevor Donald and his team at Deighton Pierce Glynn. This ironclads the case for any incoming govt (*cough* The Labour Party Yvette Cooper *cough*) to not only recommit to the Windrush Lessons Learned Review in full, but also take a serious look at the Home Office as a whole.
