The “cap space” terminology was used to describe how Wings can now go add another player with an extra roster spot. Hope that clears up any confusion! Point is, the Wings now have an open roster spot.

I will tell you that people around the team truly do value everything that Arike Ogunbowale has done for the Wings over the years. She is viewed as a true superstar — on and off the floor — by most people I’ve talked to around the team.
