Yesterday was COVID Remembrance Day. Today I’m thinking about the 6 children in NYC who died of COVID in the last year. (3/6/24–3/7/25) A total of 64 pediatric deaths, just in this city. No one ever mentions them, or how to prevent more children from dying.

People with pre-existing conditions are not expendable. The vulnerable are not expendable. The elderly are not expendable. Children are not expendable. The disabled are not expendable. Our value should never be tied to economic contribution.

SARS2 won't strengthen immunity. The immune system is like a fire alarm, designed to react during a fire (infection). If it tested too often, it doesn’t make the system better, stronger, or more efficient; it wears down the system, leading to malfunctions or even failure.

It's nice to be back on Twitter. With that being said, TMN is right. Many of the post-acute CoV deaths are not being counted. Just because SARS2 didn't kill you early on — doesn't mean it won't later. It's stealthy destruction starts in the acute phase and continues thereafter.
