I got out there in the cause of trying to get a trans MP elected, did you? It's dispiriting how difficult it has been to persuade other trans people to get out and take part.

It would be nice to think that we'll wake up on the 13th to a trans or non-binary MP, there are some promising candidates this time. Fingers crossed.

Sadly it's looking as though we'll have to wait again for another election before we see a trans or non-binary MP. Thanks so much to those of you who from our communities who have stood for election, we really appreciate your efforts.

Today is the day to start writing to your MP about the Government's apparent direction on trans issues. The main point is that it will make living in the UK as a woman much harder, irrespective of how you get there.
