Our crews, along with Tooele City Fire, Grantsville Fire, and Tooele Army Depot worked hard this morning to put out a fire at an historic hotel in Tooele today. We’re proud of all of the firefighters in our community for the way the team up and work together.

Friendly reminder that fireworks are no longer allowed, or legal until the Pioneer Day celebrations begin.

BREAKING: Due to the high fire danger fireworks will be off limits to most of Tooele County Pioneer Day. There are firework locations in Grantsville and Tooele City, however there will be no fireworks in Erda, Lake Point, Stockton, Stansbury Park, or any surrounding areas.

Just a friendly reminder as the sun get ready to set. Fireworks are restricted for all unincorporated areas of Tooele County.

Our crews from Engine 61 and Engine 64, as well as units from our neighbors from Grantsville Fire responded to a house fire at 11:35pm Sunday in Erda. After fighting the fire into the night, we’re happy to say that everyone got out safely. Cause is currently under investigation.

Our Crew is currently out investigating a lightning strike in a Stansbury Park. Looks like we finally have some rain, but lightning is still very dangerous. Stay safe everyone!

Our crews are making progress near Rowley on the #littlepassfire which is currently more than 1500 acres. High temperatures and gusty winds have made today a red flag warning day.

The #littlepassfire is currently at 3500 acres, and spreading slowly. Crews from North Tooele, Grantsville, BLM Utah and The Tooele County Fire Warden are working into the night to contain the blaze.

It’s a busy night for North Tooele Firefighters out with a power outage, pole fires, exploding transformers, as well as medical calls. This would not be possible without our full time crew working along with our volunteers, and of course the support of our community

What’s that smoke?! Our crews along with 2 Hot Shot crews from Utah Forestry are currently fighting the #morgancanyonfire which started last night at about 11pm near Mormon Trail Road. Currently estimated at 50 acres and the cause is under investigation.

Due to dry conditions Stansbury Park, Erda, Lake Point, and Pine Canyon have banned fireworks. ALL FIREWORKS. This includes fountains, sparklers, smoke bombs and pop its

There are NO fires in Tooele at this time. The smoke outside is from wildfires burning in California and Oregon.

Our crews are currently on scene for a structure fire on Center St in Lake Point. Please stay out of the area so emergency crews can work safely.
