New: the New York City Independent Budget Office projects $1.1B more in surpluses this year and next than Mayor Eric Adams did in his budget plan. More fuel for the City Council as they push to fully undo the spending cuts Mayor Adams began implementing last year.
What's bizarre though is that the city's Zoning Application Portal (zap.planning.nyc.gov/projects/2024M…) included a document called Doing Business Data Form, which listed Abdulhadi Al-Hajri as a part-owner of the company.
After seeking comment for this story, that doc is no longer online.
