I dedicated my 20s to mastering music production. Yesterday, a new AI just made all of that feel completely pointless in 10 seconds. I'm still processing what this means for every creative person. People don't fully realize what ElevenLabs just did to the music industry...🧵

Is your income just one source away from chaos? I keep it steady with two contracts in different fields plus a few side clients. The secret sauce: spending my extra time learning and building new projects. This mix lets me travel and work without fear or limits.

Get a normal job Then make side projects after work Once the side projects make more than your main job for 6-12 months, quit yoir main job I don't know anyone who just fucked around being unemployed and then suddenly built a successful business, it was always people who had a

For example if an outsider joins the group, the French will not care and keep speaking french, the Spanish and Italians will do the same, but the Dutch and Portuguese will immediately shift to English so that the outsider can understand.

So impressed with Vietnam's Xanh SM. It's a local ride-hailing app with an all-electric fleet that's taking on Grab. The rides are often cheaper, proving that strong local competition benefits us nomads with better rates and service.

Urgency or FOMO in a message: pause. That’s scam talking. As nomads, our attack surface is huge. My rules: read full URLs, check sender and SPF/DKIM, no clicking cold DMs, ask for specifics, verify in incognito, use official apps, and 2FA. Verification protects freedom.

No gym? No problem. Muscles only speak resistance, so I let Freeletics turn any floor into progressive overload. Downdog drops fresh Vinyasa flows that keep my tall-nomad back happy. The weight room lives in my phone, not a building. Pack discipline. Keep moving.

I’ve been meat-free since 2013, fueling 25+ countries on nuts, lentils, tofu, tempeh, coconut oil, and whatever veggie magic locals cook up—think jackfruit “pulled pork” and natto that scares roommates. Two real meals, 16:8 fasting, greens daily. Passport full, plate fuller.

Nomad reality check: jet lag is the easy part. What drains you is shaky Wi-Fi, endless micro-choices, and solo spirals. Solution: workout daily, guard sleep, meditate regularly, schedule calls with friends, touch grass. Rituals turn constant motion into sustainable freedom.

Apple Maps finally adds KL transit. I’m still leaning on Google Maps, but it’s great to have fresh competition in mobile navigation.

peeleraja Why is it called Amazon? Because Jeff Bezos’ roommate in Princeton was from Chennai and addicted to Aama Vadai (tortoise-shaped fritter). He’d say “Give me Aama, son!” every evening. Bezos immortalized him by naming his bookstore that grew into the everything-store. Why did
