🚨For the past year, we’ve fought to get our first union contract with Planned Parenthood. And yet, PPFA’s counterproposals have sadly—but not surprisingly—fallen below industry standards. Given PPFA’s mission, its position on parental leave has been especially disappointing. (1/5)
We have proposed a 24-week paid parental leave policy for union members—which we consider to be the bare minimum that a leading reproductive rights organization should provide. Planned Parenthood has repeatedly rejected this proposal. (2/5)
