We strongly welcome this boost to the affordable homes programme. This vital injection of funding, which we’ve been urgently calling for, will help support housing associations to continue to deliver much needed social homes in the immediate term & prevent a collapse in delivery

Positive conversation with Alex Norris MP and Ministry of Housing, Communities & Local Gov earlier this week. The NHF are committed to working in collaboration with government on remediation. However more funding is needed to ensure that money is not diverted from existing residents and new #SocialHousing

The effects of the housing crisis in rural areas are sometimes less discussed in the wider national narrative, so it's fantastic to see three pieces this week showing why a #PlanForHousing is so crucial for these communities, and some of the policy changes which might help 🧵

"We welcome The Labour Party's commitment to tackling the #HousingCrisis" Kate Henderson on BBC Breakfast discussing the importance of planning reforms & housing targets. To achieve the 1.5mill homes target, we need long-term funding & support for #SocialHousing at the next spending review.

Our research out today in The Guardian shows the far-reaching consequences of cuts to #SupportedHousing. People with support needs deserve the opportunity to live healthy, happy and independent lives. We need a long-term funding and #PlanForHousing 👉 theguardian.com/society/2025/f…

Social housing residents on low incomes are especially vulnerable to energy price rises. The govt must commit to its manifesto pledges on funding to make #SocialHousing more energy efficient. This is the only long-term solution to making our homes affordable to heat.
