What a wonderful first day back I’ve had with the Year 5’s in Dosbarth Gold. We have enjoyed playing some ice breaker games and joining our new Google Classroom. I can’t wait for the Year 6’s to join us tomorrow!

We had a lovely first day back in Dosbarth Gold. We thought about New Years resolutions and compared it to Yr Hen Galan. We made our own Perllan (lucky charms) and made origami Mari Lwyd.

I have been so proud of Dosbarth Gold today. We have worked hard and we’re successful in putting a broken 100 square back together when the numbers have been replaced with symbols. #ambitiouscapablelearners

This afternoon we have launched our new Prosiect ‘Pwy ydy’r Cymro’. It’s safe to say that Dosbarth Gold have got lots of ideas about what they want to find out and do! #curriculumforwales

Today Dosbarth Gold have been working hard to analyse BBC Newsround to find out what makes it so good. We then used this information to create a success criteria for our own news programme. #ambitiouscapablelearners

We’ve had a great Safer Internet Day in Dosbarth Gold. We have thought carefully about what we would and would not do in different scenarios and participated in a quiz. We have shown that we know how to keep ourselves safe online. Safer Internet Day
