Heddiw we planned and carried out a science experiment to see which material was the best thermal insulator for Goldilocks porridge!

Topaz have started writing their Comic strips after getting inspiration from Goldilocks and just the one bear!!

FAMILIES LEARNING TOGETHER:
In our first session of the new term we made flying carpets and used our imagination to think of all the different countries we would like to go to. We enjoyed listening to the story My Granny Went to Market (on a flying carpet).

Dosbarth Eclipse put in so much effort this afternoon, printing their repeated patterns onto recycled fabric.
Once they're dry we're going to be turning our fabric into unique bunting flags for our new reading area! 🪡🚩

This afternoon, Sapphire learned about fast fashion and sustainability. They cut out the life cycle of a cotton tshirt, put the pictures in the correct order then added captions, describing what happens at every stage of the journey 👚🛬🌍♻️

We've been using our fine motor skills to wash the fabrics, squeeze out the water, and hang them out to dry! #earlyyears

We have been using recycled fabric to create a canopy for our forest themed book corner.

We have been very busy learning how to do a running stitch to make bunting for our book corner. The class showed great perseverance.
