Day 2 of the introductory workshop on the Action for Life Skills and Values in East Africa parental / community engagement initiative, today, we will delve further into the implementation and engagement modalities while engaging parents and communities to develop Problem Solving skills among children and youth.


At Kampala; Action for Life Skills & Values in East Africa Action for Life Skills and Values in East Africa RELI Africa members of Values and Life Skills (VaLi) thematic group concluded a 2 day Parental/Community engagement Initiative campaign workshop on overall implementation approach and media strategy.

This afternoon we kick-start our Action for Life Skills and Values in East Africa parental engagement activities through community dialogues aimed at supporting parents and communities develop problem solving skills among children and young people. The first dialogue event is happening now in Sheema district


Only 3% of adolescent in Uganda have proficiency in problem solving skills, according to ALiVE assessment of 2022. Today, Action for Life Skills and Values in East Africa team in Uganda, began a robust campaign to support parents to nurture problem solving skills among children and young people Uwezo Uganda

This afternoon Action for Life Skills and Values in East Africa team kicked-off parental dialogues in Sheema District in Uganda. The dialogues are part of a larger ALiVE campaign aimed at supporting parents and communities to nurture problem solving skills among children and youths. Uwezo Uganda
