Watching a video to explain how the internet works for lesson tomorrow, they've used pigeons and nests to explain it instead of just using...computers? Is it just me who hates this? Why can't we just explain things to children using real terms? The metaphor confuses more!

It's more important than ever that UK schools publicly adopt a #NoOutsiders policy and work to live the ethos. Seeing the viciousness of anti LGBT action around schools in the US is concerning. We must build the platform strongly now so we can be ready to defend it when needed.

This is so important. One of my favourite areas in my class is the ‘self-published’ shelves in the reading area 🥰 Last year, I invested in a custom stamp so we had our own #Year5 publishing house. The look on the children’s faces when they could stamp their books 🥰 #edutwitter
