Remember how Air Canada used to be a public, government owned company and then they went private and now everyone is complaining about how damn expensive it is to fly in Canada? Yeah, don’t let the same thing happen to Canada Post.

I’m calling on Minister Kinga Surma to resign. This scathing report shows an irresponsible government mismanaging your money. #ONpoli

This video is for Doug Ford, Prabmeet Sarkaria and all others saying bike lanes "stop emerg. vehicles from getting to their destination". They *allow* emergency vehicles to get to their destination, as seen here on Adelaide. They were designed with emergency services in mind.

Doug Ford Prabmeet Sarkaria The lanes on University, which Doug Ford likes to cite as "causing congestion for ambulances", were designed with the hospitals to be used by ambulances, specifically.

Add this to the already huge pile of "reasons I'm barely using Twitter anymore." (...and doing most of my posting on the other place.) To continue to use Twitter is to continue to empower Elon Musk and Trump.

StatCan this morning reports big jump in unemployment in Fordlandia, up 0.8 pts to 7.8% How long will media play along with Doug’s bikes and booze distractions and give light coverage to failures on housing, health care, energy and big public projects?

Tom Parkin It really feels like we have more of a Ford problem than a Trudeau problem. Our unemployment is up; Ontario is almost single-handedly responsible for the housing crisis. It’s all Ford.

Ridership on Toronto's Bike Share system reaches new heights, with 7 million rides for the year! This 23% increase from last year is due in part to the expansion of the system, but also additional safe infrastructure. Toronto is a cycling city!

Imagine e-bike riders using TTC putting in their batteries for charging in stations like Kennedy and then getting off at a downtown station and picking up their fully charged batteries. No risk of fires onboard subways. Seems more equitable.

One minute of rush hour on Bloor in -10C weather on January 7th. 7 bikes and a skateboard using the bike lanes, 11 cars. 2 of which are blocking pedestrian crosswalks and causing gridlock.
