I haven't added up all the far left results & there are still a few to declare, but impressionistically: these elections have been better for us than recent years but still a long way short of a breakthrough. We still ended up with 0 seats & most of our candidates finished last

I may post some election thoughts once all the results are in, but one observation: across the wards making up Southampton Test constituency TUSC got 1,192 votes (6.1%), mostly in Bevois ward where they campaigned actively. Keeping the deposit there at the GE is well within reach

In 2021, Labour won Coventry/Sandwell by 6,100 (4.3%).

In 2024, they need to win Coventry/Sandwell by 22,000 (15%). They might, but the pro-Palestine independent will draw a lot of votes from Labour. It'll be close

Worth saying that Sadiq Khan pushed ahead with ULEZ despite huge opposition, including from the Labour leadership, and despite predictions it could cost him a third term.
