Chaired last night’s Health Scrutiny Committee where I welcomed progress on stroke recovery services in Barking & Dagenham. I raised key questions on referral pathways, access to specialist support, and future capacity. We must ensure no one is left behind.

I raised concerns after a Post Office client with mobility issues had to park far away. The Council will convert a bay near Rose Lane Post Office into a disabled space - bringing dignity, safety & easier access for those who need it most. This is how inclusion becomes real.
