At around 1611 hours, police were called by London Ambulance Service to reports of reports of a young male needing assistance in Friar Mews, #WestNorwood. Sadly, despite best efforts the male was pronounced dead at the scene at 16:45hrs. He is believed to be aged in his teens. (1/3)

Formal identification of the victim awaits and a post mortem will be scheduled. A s.60 Stop & Search power for the Lambeth Police | Central South BCU in its entirety has been authorised by Commander Rose at 1710hrs and will remain in place until 0510hrs on (2/3)
