Can someone explain how a physicians associate is being paid more than a speciality doctor for the same hours?

Apparently this is an actual word and it means the patient is no longer febrile

I find it ridiculous that you’re only allowed 20 sick days on a job where you’re exposed to illnesses every day. 5 days isolation for covid and that’s 1/4 of your sick leave gone. I’ve been ill so many times and I’ve only been a doctor for 4 months.

Disrespect is starting a newly qualified doctor on >£11,000 less than their alleged “associate” grade who;

🔸has less responsibility
🔹works less unsocial hours
🔸is not regulatory accountable

The glorification of self-sacrifice in South Asian culture needs to stop. Looking after yourself and making decisions about your own future, as an adult, should not be so frowned upon. Children are not the property of parents.

I don’t talk about this publicly but living in an emotionally abusive household is so draining. It makes you question everything about yourself and squeezes every last bit of confidence left in you.

I would not in any way expect me to be voted 'insert profession' of the week. As I am not one.
