For our zuppa di ceci tonight, Tenuta Le Potazzine 2008 & 2011 #RossodiMontalcino show the great mid-term aging potential of Rosso. Both show depth, freshness & complexity but 2011 is the clear winner, an extraordinary vintage for this fantastic estate. And what a great pairing. Brave!

Tenuta Le Potazzine 2004 #Brunello, from our cellar, is one of the greatest wines I've ever had. Joining the likes of #BiondiSanti, #Costanti, #LeChiuse & Il Marroneto, it's fragrant, elegant, delicious & loaded with depth. It's gorgeous. Taut, smooth, complex, still youthful & precise.
