Vandaag bracht ik een werkbezoek aan Excellent Care Clinics. Daar sprak ik over long-COVID en een veelbelovend medicijntraject die de ontstekingen in je hersenen en lichaam tegengaat. De resultaten zijn hoopgevend. Nu is het aan de zorgverzekeraars om het medicijn te vergoeden.

Daarna bezocht ik Medische Kliniek Velsen. Een zelfstandig behandelcentrum met de technologie van een topziekenhuis. ZBC’s worden vaak weggezet als ‘geldgedreven’, maar ik zag vandaag een kliniek wat complexe zorg levert én het zorggeld terug investeert in zorgkwaliteit.
