This morning I defended my Ph.D. dissertation! This journey was possible from great support and guidance from my advisors, Jennifer Roizen and Amanda Hargrove. With that, I’m excited to announce that I will be joining Goodwin Boston office in few weeks as a science advisor!

N-acetyl cysteine work up for Pd removal. When I had to isolate pyridyl-containing cmpd with PPh3 and OPPh3 impurities, I added aq HCl to turn the pyridyl into pyridinium salt, wash with ethyl acetate 3x to get rid of trace impurities. Basify again to get neutral cmp back.
