I'm looking at the cost of accommodation and train fares to get to Edinburgh for the RCPsych international conference 2024, and I'm not sure I can stretch to almost 3 grand (£600 train, £700 accommodation, £825 conference fee) just to present a poster. Might give it a miss.

Less than 3 yrs ago we advertised for a salaried GP, in a good training practice, decent salary. We had zero applicants, twice over. We now get weekly contacts from GPs asking if we have any work going. We don’t. Your inability to see a GP is no longer due to GP shortage. #teamGP
