UPDATE: This is an example photo. The WSJ has amended their story after the ATF said no engravings. Someone at the ATF apparently believed the head stamp on the ammo was transgender propaganda. A) This was intentional disinformation to further inflame political tension B)

A lot of people talk about metabolic flexibility, but don't understand it. They may know it's the ability of the body (or specific tissues, to be more precise) to use either fat or glucose, but they don't understand what regulates this shift. Insulin is the determining factor.

In a study of ~2.5M children, there was a small association between in utero Tylenol use and subsequent autism. But the association disappears entirely when you introduce sibling controls, implying it’s spurious.

Trump: San Francisco and Chicago, New York, Los Angeles… We'll straighten them out one-by-one. It will be a major part for some of the people in this room. It’s a war too. It’s a war from within.

I've got a question for the group: For those who do intermittent fasting, how do you get enough protein? At 176 pounds I'm supposed to get 126 grams per day at the minimum. But Eggs are only 6 an beef is 7 per oz, and I just don't know if I can eat that much in 2 meals.

I will correct every single one of these I see. My rates dropped dramatically. The insurance is better. I wasn’t shut out due to preexisting conditions. The ACA saved a friend’s life when he developed a heart condition. We cannot go backward.

Fun fact: Ronald Reagan signed into law a legal mandate that requires all hospitals to provide emergency medical treatment to anyone - including undocumented immigrants. Choke on that Mike Johnson.

Walmart signs all their employees up for SNAP. Why? It allows Walmart to pay employees below what it costs to survive and has your taxes make up the difference (while they pocket it) “Shareholder capitalism” Henry Ford paid you enough to support a wife, 4kids and buy a car.

"Why are there so many people in SNAP?! You all need to get to work!" Excluding children and elderly individuals, the reason why so many people are on SNAP is because this country allows businesses to pay people unlivable wages, which effectively makes SNAP a corporate subsidy.

The Walton family (who own Walmart) are worth $400 billion, yet many of their employees are on SNAP. Bezos is worth $400 billion, many Amazon employees require SNAP. The people who need help are not the problem. It’s corporate greed. It’s an unwillingness to pay a living wage
