On the NY Senate’s active list tomorrow (which means it’s on the schedule for a probable vote): Sen. Liu’s bill to cede parkland near Citi Field, which would clear the way for Mets owner Steve Cohen’s casino proposal.

The NY Senate voted 54-5 to clear the way for NYC to "alienate" parkland (currently occupied by parking lots) around Citi Field. It's a big win for Mets owner Steve Cohen, who wants to build a casino there. Bill heads to Gov. Hochul for signature/veto.
