There are a couple of authors I routinely look up in hopeful anticipation of new releases, and I'm routinely disappointed. But today the fantastical gods have blessed me. <3

Really excited to carve out my nonexistent free time this summer to finally read Middlemarch.

1. What We Talk About When We Talk About Fat by Aubrey Gordon made me a kinder, smarter person. 2. People Love Dead Jews by Dara Horn made me rethink the Holocaust education I'd received. 3. Being Mortal by Atul Gawande...cured my fear of death? (Books are AMAZING.)

We have now sold out of the 10,000 and 20,000 learner coins, but the majority of the money every year is raised by people who buy a $100 2,000 learner coin. This is the equivalent of an $8.30 monthly subscription and it is the whole reason we can continue to make Crash Course.

The way I get goosebumps when romance authors describe their books. No other genre brings me this level of pure joy.
