The remembrance poppy is the common field poppy (Papaver rhoeas), one of the early wildflowers to colonise disturbed ground or fallow cornfields. It became identified with the battle zones of the First World War, or Flanders Fields, which were initially corn fields.

Our weekend wreath making workshops will be beginning on 23rd of November - no need to book just drop in! Expert advice and assistance will be provided free, you just pay for whatever materials you use. Winter Fest will be on Sunday 1st December this year.
