It’s not the BMA “undermining the trade union movement”. It’s a Labour Prime Minister, writing in the Murdoch press, urging junior doctors to break with their union leadership. That’s a direct attack on trade unionism. Solidarity with The BMA and junior doctors on strike.

It’s utterly appalling that newly qualified doctors - after 5 years of training - are paid less than “physician assistants” - who have just 2 years of training.

Doctors play a vital role at key moments in our lives. They care for us. They cure us. They do not take the decision to strike lightly. They are striking for an extra £4 per hour for first year doctors with £100,000 student debt. The government needs to move on this. Solidarity
