The varsity is back in action at home tomorrow for a non-league DH against Brett Borrocci & his Royal Oak Baseball Ravens. South enters the contest at 11-1 overall.


South added 2 more non-league W today over Royal Oak, 10-0 & 5-1. Griffin Szatkiewski ‘25, Henry Danielewicz ‘28 & Trey Grabowski ‘27 handled the mound. Charlie McPartlin ‘27, Evan Bernard ‘25 & Adam Czarnik ‘25 had multi-hit days. South is 13-1 overall & 3-0 in the MAC headed to series #2


South & St Clair High School Baseball are tied in the MAC at 3-0 headed into today’s series opener at home…


South 12, St Clair 0 in the opener of the series today. Jack Danielewicz ‘26 (vid) was in control the whole way, striking out 9 & not allowing a BB or hit. Multi-hit games were added by Andrew DiLodovico ‘25, Adam Czarnik ‘25, Henry Domzalski ‘25 & Drew Hess ‘27.

GPS finished the SC series w an 11-1 W. Andrew DiLodovico ‘25 helped power the attack w a HR (Vid) among his 2 H & 3 RBI. Dane Lezotte ‘26 won on the mound & also had 2 H. Addl 2 H games came from Adam Czarnik ‘25, Jack Lupo ‘25 & Henry Domzalski ‘25. South is 16-1 (6-0 MAC)

South dropped a 1-0 extra inning decision to Anchor Bay Baseball today. Both starting pitchers Jack Danielewicz & Ty Finkbeiner were outstanding. The Tars & Blue Devils are now tied in the MAC headed to game 2 on Wednesday at South.

We feel blessed and excited to take part in our 10th appearance Comerica Park this Friday at 4pm with Liggett Baseball. Please head to The Sugar Bar today if you are interested in the limited tickets still available. Every South varsity player will participate in this game.


South took another tough loss in the final at-bats today to fall a game behind Anchor Bay in the MAC standings. Dane Lezotte ‘26 had a strong day at the plate, including a go-ahead HR in the 3rd (vid). Game 3 of the series is tomorrow. Stay tuned for the weather updates.
