Possible unpopular opinion (but I don’t care): I think Airbnbs should be illegal. So many sit empty most of the time, some of the owners are just plain horrible people, they drive up cost of housing, and add to the housing crisis.

There should be multiple HEPA filters operating in every classroom. No excuse anymore.

Liberal & NDP MPs should be forced to hire disabled people, ensure their offices are 100% accessible, & offer work from home. They voted for a measly $200 Canada Disability Benefit to "recognize the importance of work", put up some jobs.

Before you judge a disabled person - before you tell them to try harder or that they’re a burden to society - remember that you too will end up disabled one day. Health is a temporary state & disability is NOT a moral failing. Everyone deserves care, compassion & dignity.

Went on a bit of a tear on radio just now about homelessness crisis in Ontario. Financial issues and not able to access housing are leading cause. Ford needs to put back rent controls, raise ODSP and provide treatment options NOT waste money on things like spa parking. #onpoli

How many other AAC chairs/members are disgusted by their municipality's indifference to PWD? We need to organize. Accessibility is now a mere check-box and liberties are being taken with the notion the AAC approved a presentation - vastly different than an endorsement!
