Yesterday I attended the AMHDM UK Research and Innovation Networking and Knowledge Sharing Conference. As a co-researcher within the RE-STAR project. It was a interesting day. I also got to help co-present one of the posters we helped produce on the YRP led EEG experiment experince outcomes.


Today Adoption UK are delighted to be going with young adoptees to meet the Children's Minister to talk about what support they'd like to see from the new government across education, mental health and the transition to adulthood Janet Daby MP

Today I travled down with the Adoption UK Youth Bridge Project to the Department of Education. We got to speak to Janet Daby MP about multiple topics including identity, education, transitions and education. It was interesting to hear her reflections on our thoughts.


We were delighted to accompany a group of young adoptees to meet Children’s Minister Janet Daby MP yesterday. She was able to hear about the change they need to see.




Yesterday an interview I did for ITV calendar news was broadcasted on ITV News Tyne Tees. I spoke about how whilst letterbox was beneficial it didn't have the same naturailty as direct and can miss smaller elements such as memories.


Focus group training session yesterday with the Voice and Influence Team team & Ginger Adoptee . We were aiming to create a space where people could express diverse perspectives and have different ways to take part. Lots of zines and collage, plus great discussions & facilitation.


Yesterday I spoke at a webinar by ATD Fourth World UK 'Keeping the Promise of the Copenhagen Declaration on Social Development by Achieving Legal Identity for All' part of CSocD63.I spoke about legal identity and the losses or changes of it as an adoptee and how that's impacted me

On Wednesday I attended the Frontline | children's charity Annual Awards. It gave me the pleasure to meet Jess Phillips and Fatima Whitbread Was wonderful to talk to both of them about their work, the current care system including some of the challenges and changes still needed. Thank You
