Spotted this trap under the trees near me in Prehen for the first time presumably for Grey Squirrels ⁦⁦@WoodlandTrust⁩ . No sign of recently baiting or anthough rodents would have disposed of any trace of that.

The home grown varieties are increasingly in availability including sprouting mung beans and pea-shoots. Edible flowers coming back into season too. ⁦little green tips⁩ ⁦Nicky Kyle Gardening⁩

More on Rewilding. We have such an rewilded area at Prehen, BT47 . Developers want housing instead. Money can’t buy us 30years rewilded habitats.

Lords and Ladies marbled leaves AKA Cuckoo pint for its flowers which can be difficult to spot later in the year followed by amazing orange/ reddish berries in autumn. #RightofNature

It’s the same scene here as I drive along roads of hedge cropped tightly they never get to flower and set seeds and berries for wildlife and natural regeneration. Hedges matter.#RightsofNature

A new fungi for me spotted on dead wood close to my house at Prehen. There are so many different fungi once I start really looking for them.

⁦@OshDuffy⁩ . Oisin should this sea mammal I spotted in Thursday on a beach on Cruit Island near Green Port be reported somewhere? I’ll see if I can pinpoint it better and grind reference it for you.

⁦@OshDuffy⁩ This is the best I can do Oisin. The dead mammal was found the small beach on the right side opposite Tra Dearg shown here on the left as “Wild Beach” below the thatched cottages. You know Cruit so can possibly pinpoint it.
