Firefighters in Town of Grand Falls-Windsor responded to a truck fire on Trans Canada Highway east of Union St overpass Friday evening which closed the east bound lanes briefly as crews quickly brought fire under control. No injuries. Trailer was separated by quick thinking owner before arrival.

Firefighters in Town of Grand Falls-Windsor attended this early morning vehicle fire at a residence on Keats Ave at 5 am. Crew quickly suppressed the fire and prevented spread to the home just in time. No injuries reported. Radiant heat damage to the building. RCMP investigating cause. #GFWFire

A Wednesday afternoon wind driven fire in Town of Grand Falls-Windsor on Glenwood Avenue challenged our firefighters despite a quick response to the call. Severely damaging 3 houses and 2 sheds. Crews fought the fire in 28 degree heat and high winds preventing further spread. #GFWFire
