Honestly, I think if we were all realistic and sensible about subjects and qualifications, we’d have to admit that being good at maths is super valuable in the Labour market. Everything else is a roulette wheel.

ONE MILLION absent from school should be headline news across all platforms. Yet this is the first week for many months that I haven’t been asked to comment on pupil absences. Living with Covid does not mean accepting intolerable levels of pupil & staff absence as the norm.

To all National College of Education L7 learners who are currently finishing their dissertation. You will cross that finish line! I remember that feeling well & happiness once I’d passed.
