Today is “ELEVATE 2024” - Baptist Health Sciences University “Student Research Symposium.” Our Biomedical Sciences students participated in poster and podium presentations. They all did a great job. Congratulations to them and their faculty advisors!



It’s been a busy 2 days. Baptist Health Sciences University. Junior Preview Day yesterday, Black Men in White Coats this morning, & the School of Osteopathic Medicine ribbon cutting this afternoon!

Last week we celebrated our 4 Baptist Health Sciences University Sigma Zeta seniors, 2 of which are also Honors students. Sigma Zetas received a pin and medallion, and Honors Students received their medallion, plaque, and Bible. Congratulations to these 4 graduates!


Several Baptist Health Sciences University Faculty, Staff & Administrators participated in the Junior Achievement’s “JA Inspire”STEMM event at the Agricenter. Here are this morning’s volunteers. Thank you for everyone who helped this week!


I had a greAT weekend at my first ever Tennessee Athletic Trainers’ Society Athletic Trainers’ Society annual meeting! I learned many new things and met a lot of new colleagues!

The students in Dr. Koushik Roy’s (Asst Prof of Biology) summer research workshop, “Analyze This,” have been busy learning different research procedures on Baptist Health Sciences University campus & toured a research lab at the University of Memphis & students practiced some research techniques.
