Steady progress on the #solar #computer. Learning a lot about power & distribution currently (excuse the pun). One last stress test then complete the new PCB design. Aiming for a HAT.

Latest mock up of the #Solar #Computer. The fan was the latest stumbling block but was eventually overcome & hangs under the PCB above the CPU. It sits in one one hand ok so the touch screen can be used. Custom PCB to come ASAP thanks to AISLER hopefully bringing improvements.

May attempt this interim #Solar #Computer proto board prior to a custom PCB from AISLER. There's an off the shelf solution now available on the radar but we like #DIY. This is a rear shot with the capacitative touch display at the front & Raspberry Pi 3 sandwiched in between.
