When every Lee Day student comes up to you at the hotel you work at to tell you how much they loved your performance, it feels good. Glad I get to be a part of some incredible groups that care for students!

I never had any aspirations to become a performer. I never thought that was a possibility for me. I’ve grown to really love performing during my time at Lee, especially with the people I love. Senior Recital✅, Senior Honors✅, Brass Quintet and Chamber Strings to come.

I lived in McKinney and went to school in Frisco. Incredible places to live and definitely deserve these accolades.

I’m student teaching and my sixth graders found out it was my birthday today. They went around to all the band kids whispering about how they were going to sing me happy birthday thinking I couldn’t hear their loud whispering. It was so very cute and I love middle school.
