Game 1️⃣5️⃣1️⃣: AFC Chryston 0-4 Steins Thistle. Very comfortable for Steins Thistle AFC, who laboured in the first half but turned the screw after the break. AFC Chryston worked hard. Highlight of the night was a late sub appearance from the legendary Darryl Drew.

After Saturday's adventure in the Borders, more amateur action for me tonight. I'm at Carrick Park in Glenboig, where AFC Chryston take on Steins Thistle AFC in the Scottish Premier AFA's Championship (second level). Steins are defending a 100% record.

Sportsound at 5.10pm on a Saturday. 5 mins of schoolboy bickering from Michael Stewart and Tom English about the Aberdeen manager taking over early. Total non issue. How about telling us about relevant stuff like today's games and the L1 and L2 results? An absolute circus.
Game 1️⃣5️⃣0️⃣: Ancrum 1-1 Leithen Rovers. A hard fought draw, which was a fair outcome. Leithen Rovers gave as good as they got despite playing 50 minutes with ten men. Ancrum AFC huffed and puffed but eventually got a headed equaliser that their efforts deserved.

Half time at Ancrum, and hosts Ancrum AFC trail 1-0 to Leithen Rovers. It's been a nip and tuck first half, but Rovers got a breakthrough just before the interval. They are down to ten men though; their no 5 saw red for something he said to the ref.

Something entirely different for #davesfootballtravels today. I'm delving into BorderAm with a first visit to Bridgend Park, where Ancrum AFC host Leithen Rovers in the B Division. A lovely setting alongside the A68 main road.

Game 1️⃣4️⃣9️⃣: Dalbeattie Star 2-3 Abbey Vale. Surprise win for Abbey Vale, especially given they trailed 2-0 at one stage. It means Dalbeattie Star Football Club's title bid will go to the final game v Creetown even if they beat bottom side Wigtown in their next one.

Pie review: Scotch Pie, Dalbeattie Star Football Club. A run of crap pies ends with this one. Local butcher artisan vibes, a traditional filling... what's not to like? Particularly well seasoned, avoiding the pitfall of blandness.
