Investment screening is a vital tool for protecting national security and supporting U.S. investments. CLDP, Treasury Department, Department of State, CEISD (Romania), and Ministry of Industry and Trade (Czech Republic) held workshops to support North Macedonia’s investment screening framework.

From Aug 3–7, CLDP convened experts to draft a Technology Transfer Handbook for policymakers building self-sustaining IP and innovation systems. Strong frameworks abroad protect U.S. IP and open pathways for American firms to invest and gain equity in innovative startups.
