I used to work frontline in Ottawa. I'm well aware that people are underpaid and burnt out. My friends and neighbours are dead because of politicians who don't listen/care. Others in my life are struggling because of policies designed to keep people in a state of struggle.

Last year 3.6% of detox referrals made by the Moss Park CTS staff were successful. The other 96.4% of the time they were told their were no detox beds available anywhere in Toronto.

Pleased Carleton University has adopted an Indigenous identity policy. This will protect students, staff, & faculty from the violence + academic misconduct of white settlers falsely claiming to be First Nations, Inuit, Métis. Too many fraud cases out there still. carleton.ca/provost/2024/1…
