Great to be at Charlie Winstanley’s book launch tonight! Interesting discussion between Charlie and SalfordMayor about how we can tackle the housing crisis, including the importance of local government in it.

New from me - a review of Malcom Harris's "What's Left" which I call, "a product of [the] ecumenical, hyperradical, but deeply weak and marginal Left of the last half-century."

The Doctor's dispute is about more than just pay; it's about fixing some of the dysfunctional internal dynamics of the NHSs staffing structure. Here's me in Tribune:

“Without pay that reflects the realities of the job, the NHS will continue to bleed talent and lose experience it cannot replace.” Great piece in Tribune which emphasises exactly why I was honoured to join the The BMA picket line at the Royal last week ✊🏽

Thanks to Joseph Timan at the MEN for this write up of Bricking It, particularly in the context of GM's growth story of the past few decades. A complicated picture, where growth for its own sake is far from a panacea for wider social ills. google.com/amp/s/www.manc…

Are Reform sending round letters in Gorton & Denton pretending to be from unaffiliated 'concerned local residents'? The font alone is an offence frankly

Charlie Winstanley (@cfwinstanley) 's Twitter Profile Photo

I'm perplexed on why the printer would edit designs once sent. But in any case it's easily proven; if Greater Manchester Police are investigating they should be able to find emails + timestamps on relevant docs. In the meantime, have Reform UK a copy of their unedited leaflet we can see?
