It is very concerning that children across the country would be subjected to this simply because there is no school choice in the area or no place in the school of choice. This is an issue everyone should be concerned about.

Home provision for children with complex needs won’t work. We said before parents can’t find tutors for children with more complex needs. It must be in-school. Schools must open their doors - cannot use their power anymore to exclude external educators doing jp on their premises

39 out of 124 special schools have told parents they WILL NOT offer the summer programme this year for children with autism and intellectual disabilities. Others are ‘waiting for guidelines’.

Late payment every year is a disincentive for staff taking part in Summer Provision. The Minister knows that staff will put up with this poor treatment because they care deeply about their students & want to support them. It is unfair, staff need clarity on when they will be paid

Please tell schools again to prioritise kids in special classes for July prov. They’re cutting our hours so they can run camps. It’s an absolute catastrophe for us this year. School after school reducing our kids entitlements
