I know we’re all tired of being on Zoom, but some important Zoom etiquette reminders: - everyone wants to see your cat - don’t just say “my cat is here,” hold your cat up to the camera so we can see it - when your cat is on camera, either say “cat” or type “cat” in the chat

This is Kabosu. She just turned 16 years old. She’s a rescue Shiba Inu who changed the world with an impromptu photoshoot back in 2010. Her slightly raised eyebrows and crossed paws remain one the greatest reaction images of all time. 15/10 such legend much wow

7 questions for better thinking 1) Is that a fact or my opinion? 2) What is my % confidence on this? 3) What do I care about most? 4) How might another person view this? 5) Is it truly a binary choice? 6) What would I do if I weren't afraid? 7) Am I deciding or justifying?

Great point, and a great thread. Yet another reason why many Developer Productivity measurements are junk - they just use *activity* metrics, like lines of code or story points. Which can be useful, but only as part of a balanced suite of metrics (hat tip: SPACE framework)

I feel personally attacked 😅 But seriously, it's amazing how often we just need a nap or a juice box. We're fundamentally still the same people as when we were 3 years old, just with more layers built on top.
